Read the identifier in context.
A bare number in MC mode is treated as an MC docket. Enter FF or MX explicitly for those prefixes. A match identifies a public record; it does not verify insurance or authorize a load.
What can a public record tell you?
The record can show names, registered contact details, reported fleet information and source-reported authority. It cannot establish who is contacting you, whether a load is legitimate or whether insurance covers a particular shipment.
How current is the information?
Every profile shows when its information was retrieved. Selected browsing records use a saved source snapshot; other lookups query the public source on demand. A retrieval date is not the date each fact changed.
